• The first changes show up within the first week

  The response is progressive. Many people perceive changes during the first week: lighter end-of-day feelings, less muscle tension, and a sense of greater calm. Between the second and fourth week, overall stability consolidates, with greater clarity and less sustained fatigue. The speed of response depends on the starting level: with a significant magnesium deficit, the effect is faster and more noticeable. What is consistent is that the experience settles and improves with continuous use.

• No vitamin B6: it is a safety decision

  Because the evidence that B6 improves intestinal absorption of magnesium in healthy people is limited and heterogeneous. Combined magnesium + B6 studies show benefit in subjective stress perception, not in the bioavailability of the mineral. Furthermore, the EFSA updated the tolerable upper limit for B6 in 2023 to 12 mg/day due to the risk of peripheral neuropathy with chronic use at high doses.   The forms with the greatest risk of laxative effect are oxide and, in sensitive individuals, citrate.
